I was there the week of Easter break and was surprised to see 1 kid playing basketball there. No one else in sight. Since the skate park being closed, where do the kids go? This is the only park in Somerville that has the most options. Hopefully I will see more people in the weeks ahead. The park has krausers and Summerville ice cream shop across the street for convenience.
I grew up in this park. It has a waterfall and a pool with activities for the children. Three generations of my family have enjoyed the whole park system in Somerville.
Small sprinkler park and pool for summer. There is a play area and basketball hoop as well.
Awesome place for kids. You can leave them for hours and relax under tree shadow. Don't forget to bring your picnic mat, some snacks and drinking water.
